Roughest Sport

Many people believe football is the roughest sport. Because there is tackling and hitting, people believe it to be the roughest but there are other sports that could be more dangerous. Out of all the contact sports, what do you think is the roughest? What makes this sport dangerous? What are the consequences of playing the sport and what are the benefits?

I think the most dangerous sports are the x-games style motor-cross competitions. There is no doubt that those guys and girls have some screw loose. I mean a few in their head and probably a few that are holding their bodies together.

Nice job TD. Can I suggest to just bump up your font size a bit?

The most dangerous sport is gymnastics. I did it for most of my life and seen many injuries from the simplest things. You have to know every single technique or something could go wrong. Most people who do gymnastics didnt just start trying the stunts, it takes awhile to get them.

I think all of the sports are equally dangerous, it's just that the consuquences vary from a small scrape to instant death.

I think that hockey is the roughest sport because the player suffer various injuries to sometimes death from a freak accident. it also allows fighting which can turn ugly fast.

i think that boxing is the roughest aport because you can get hurt in so many ways. You can get brain damage from getting hit so much. The money is good but you could hurt your self badly.

I have to agree with Mr. Turton that motor-cross is the most dangerous sport. Two of my cousins do motor-cross and have both gotten injuries that they could have lost there life to. You have to be so concentrated on what you are doing and if you are not thinking or distracted by one thing you could put your life on the line.
